Idaho has a wealth of public lands. Managed for multiple uses by federal or state agencies, these lands provide numerous benefits to the public, as well as to wildlife.

Idaho also has abundant amounts of solar and wind energy – key elements of a renewable energy economy that are increasingly in demand. At the intersection of renewable energy development and public lands management is a place for discussing how we manage our public lands, how we achieve a renewable energy economy, and what we value as Idahoans.

This *Happy-Hour Forum* focuses on understanding the extent of renewable energy projects on public lands in Idaho and how the agencies charged with managing our public lands are handling a sharply increasing demand.
