This fast-paced presentation tells the story of the Snake River’s thousand-mile course from its headwaters on the Yellowstone Plateau to its confluence with the Columbia River in eastern Washington. The Snake’s story is complex and fascinating – a tale that includes beauty, conflict, challenge, and surprise. Will Whelan uses photographs to illustrate how the great river of Idaho has been shaped by human and natural forces.
