Creatures of the air, birds and bats are still dependent on
choices we make here on the ground for their continued survival.
The near extinction of the California Condor is known to many,
yet lead poisoning remains the single greatest threat to recovery.
Chris Parish, President and CEO of The Peregrine Fund,
will share why and how North American Non-Lead Partnership
takes a collaborative approach to this issue.
Dr. Rita Dixon, State Wildlife Action Plan Coordinator for the
Idaho Department of Fish and Game, will share how
she works to reduce threats to birds by day and bats by night:
these insectivores share many of the same conservation issues.
Let’s fly straight on into conversations about what it takes
to conserve our feather-winged or leather-winged friends!
